7 Definitions of geometry

Hi guys, My name is johan suzuki I'm 9 th grade and I'm studying geometry in this year. So, how those people who is in 9 th grade and really don't know the principal vocabulary of geometry, I will show you some concept that I know.

1. a point is something that has no part.

2. a line is a limit lenght

3. a straight line is a line that lies at the 2 points that it has.

4. the lines extremities are point

5 A surface only has lenght and breadth.

6 the extreme of surface is line

7. A plane surface is a surface that lies with straight lines itself

■The end of the year is approaching fast. Comment about your math skills and explain to me why you are ready to move on to the next school year!

In my school years, comparing between when I went to Cic and now, I think that I got a big progrees not only for my english, but for my math skills.

I think that I will get ready for the next year, for my new process, start to cero and advance every day in my life.

I think that my teacher knows about my progress about my math skills and compare when I went to the school as a student and now.

But it depend to the teacher if he consider my math skills progress.

The Pythagorean Theorem

The mathematics says: is a relation in Euclidean geometry among the three sides of a right triangle (right-angled triangle).

I understand that is like kind of equation with geometry. also the equation is writing like this:A2+B2+=C2.

No matter how is going to be the form of the pythagoreas, the most important is that the pythagoreas has the same equation as I said before.

this geometry form it is originated many years ago and by generations, it is changed not only for equation, but also for the way to use.

the first people who discovered the Pythagorean was the babylonians and then the indians was the second and the thrind was china.

In conclusion, this theory could be usefull when I will be in the geometry because I know about what is it and how can I use it.

When does it have 29 days? Why? Is this a good method or should we do something about it?

February 29 is a date that usually occurs every four years, and is called leap day. Only in this it have 366 days (normally occur in 365 days to end the year).
the is happening because in the information that I searched in Internet is "Our solar year (the time required for Earth to travel once around the Sun) is 365.24219 days.

Our calendar year is either 365 days in non leap years or 366 days in leap years (Feb 29th inserted).

A leap year every 4 years gives us 365.25 days, sending our seasons off course and eventually in the wrong months.

To change .25 days to .24219, we need to skip a few leap days (Feb 29ths) .... century marks not divisible by 400. So with a few calculations tweek the calendar by skipping 3 of 4 century leap years to average out our calendar year to 365.2425, which is pretty darn close to the solar year 365.24219."

for me I think this happening because in the leap day, the earth travel around the sun in 366.24219 day which means that we need to add 1 to balance the day of the year.

this is good because for this we can organize between the astrology and the math and join that together to do not get the mistake in the year, For me this a good choice that makes the astrology.

Feedback about my project

In algebra, we are doing a project.

The project is talking about the planets, the story of the planets, some one.

I choose the Mars because it is very interesting when i found it in the NASA'S information, Originally, mars was the name of the god of war in rome, when the romans scientist discovered the mars, they identified like a blood.

They have some information about the person who live in Mars or called "Aliens". Also they found that the mars have water, so that means, in mars have wind and for this case the Aliens come to that planet.

I founding interesting information to my project, very interesting things. Did you know that mars also have winter? The answer is yes, in the south part of mars do not have any solar radiation that produced cold time and for this case, mars have a winter place such as earth.

I hope that my interesting fact is going to be surprised to my teacher and get a best grade.

Have you ever watched a great game? Tell me about it. If not, then I guess you are not a sports fan.....so why not :)

Yes. When I was 6 years in Japan. It was a night at Jingu Stadium in Tokyo. We were watching a baseball game: the Giant vs Yakuruto. It was a very interesting game, two teams fighting for a championship.

This stadium is a most famous stadiums in Tokyo . It is very big inside and out. You could buy drinks, sweets and foods.

My Mom liked the Yakuruto. She supported the player named Petagini (it's a great baseball in Venezuela).

My dad also liked Yakuruto.

I do not like anythese 2 team, because at that age, I did not know about the baseball team in Japan.

Finally, Giant won 6-5.

It was a great day, hopefully I will have another opportunity to see a game like that!

Mr. L said in the assembly. "Doing the right thing when no one is looking". What does that mean to you?

For me, the expression that said Mr.Lettinga means that we need to do your things and not others because all this will depend on your or mine life. When I do the right thing is a big step. For example, when I do a good deed I am helping those people who is around me.

Am I so eager to do them when no one is watching?

Yes, because the excitement of doing the right thing is for me. I am ready to do to improve as a person. Every good step that I give is the mountain that I climb up to the top.

How do I apply it to the math class?

I apply this in my math class to do the best I can. In trying to express to the teacher all my knowledge and if I make a mistake correct it and not to repeat it.

Do I pick up trash that I see?

No because I don´t make that mistake

Do I turn off the faucet in the bathroom even if I didn't turn it on?

Yes, because it is a waste of water.

What do I do after school?

After school, I stay in my school to do all my homeworks that the teachers sent me to do untill next day. If I finished all my home works, I do something else like play, talk with my friends. Then, I ride in the school bus.

When I go to my house, I change my clothes and I eat a delicious food that made my mother and I take a shower. After that, I check my school E-mail if I have any message from my classmates or my teachers.I order my school stuff for my next day. Before I going to sleep, I see my computer or I read a book. Finally, I talk with my parents. I sleep at 10:00 pm to wake up on 5:00 am.

What kids of professional development do you do to keep you "edge" as excellent students?

I am going to use my knowledge that I taught in my life. For example:

- I studied 1st to 4th grade in japanese school.

-I studied 4th to 7th grade in spanish school.

- I am studing 8th grade in International school.

- I am studing to myself. I find too much information on internet about history, fish, religion, etc.

All of this, it is going to be useful to get on the "edge". For me, "edge" is a way to show my habilities and my skills like student. Aristoteles said: " The big Knowledge produce big doubts".

I can show the people how intelligent I am. They can make many questions like this: Why are you very smart ?

How do you learn? Who told to you? .

So, It´s time to show the peole Who am I!!!

five resolutions for this new year and explain a little as to why you chose them or how you plan to make them happen!

my 5 resolution of this years is:

- I want to be brown belt in tae kwon do.
- I want to do more exercise.
- I want to be serious in my busisnes.
- I want to be helthy.
- I want to concentrate more on my studies.

My plan to make them happen:

- 1 I will going to be more responsible in tea kwon do, I will go to more tournaments and I going to study more the tae kwon do guide.
- 2 I will going to run every day, I going to jump rope and I going to do bendings and adominal exersice.
- 3 I will not going to joke every time and give best I can.
- 4 I will going to heat more helthy food.
- 5 I will going to concentrate in my studies and not joke or do something else.
